2008 DMC American Battleground West Coast Finals Presented by 206 Zulu – UZN Seattle Chapter Held in Seattle, Washington August 8th, 2008 Call to Leading Edge Sponsors: 206 Zulu, Seattle’s premier community-based Hip Hop organization invites you to become a partner as we present the 2008 DMC American Battleground West Coast Finals, taking place this August 8th, 2008. 206 Zulu provides the community with quality entertainment and educational resources, creative space for turntablists, with an expansive volunteer network of organizers, dedicated to the preservation and elevation of deejaying and Hip Hop culture. This highly anticipated event will be promoted widely on local, regional and national levels. We will be utilizing our resources with street teams, social organizations, media outlets, companies, and individuals to produce an event that attracts an audience comprised of many demographics. The estimated attendance for the West Coast finals is 500 people. The attendees of this all-ages event fall into various age groups, but a majority of those who are most impacted by the competition fall between the ages of 18-30.
